MONROE - On Thursday, Aug. 16:
Daniel F. Baumgartner, 25, Monroe, was arrested on charges of misdemeanor bail jumping and driving with a revoked license at 10:22 p.m. in the 1000 block of 8th Street. He was jailed.
A glass tube containing an unknown white powder was found at 10:46 a.m. in the parking area of Stop-N-Go, 1607 9th St., and brought to the police station. The powder is being tested.
A resident in the 1500 block of 15th Avenue was warned at 10:48 a.m. to clean up trash in the yard.
Police responded to a complaint at 10:51 a.m. that a person was not cleaning up dog feces on the terrace in front of an apartment building in the 1900 block of 9th Street. The dog owner was warned.
A resident in the 500 block of West 21st Street was issued a warning notice at 11:18 a.m. to clean up tires and miscellaneous furniture stored under a tarp in the yard.
A property owner in the 500 block of West 21st Street was issued a warning notice at 11:32 a.m. that the grass and weeds were too high and the lawn needed mowing.

MONROE - Philip E. Ruckman, 44, rural New Glarus, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and battery at 7:52 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, after deputies investigated a domestic-abuse incident that occurred the previous day at about 7 p.m. at a residence in the W7600 block of County H in the Town of York. Ruckman posted a cash bond and was released pending court.

DARLINGTON - Jeremy W. Herbst, 41, Gratiot, was cited for non-registration of a vehicle and no proof of vehicle insurance at 12:59 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, on Wisconsin 11 in South Wayne.
A vehicle on Ridge Street in Benton was reported vandalized at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16.
