MONROE - On Sunday:
Dawn M. Rea, 40, Monroe, was arrested at 1:08 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, second offense, after police stopped her vehicle in the 1000 block of 9th Street. A passenger, Shanelle L. Sanchez, 31, Monroe, was cited for open intoxicants in a vehicle and obstructing an officer. Both subjects were released pending court.
David C. Kraft, 38, Albany, was arrested at 10:07 a.m. for attempted strangulation, battery, disorderly conduct and a probation hold in the 400 block of West 8th Street. Kraft was jailed pending court.
Harley F. Vandervelden, 26, Monroe, was arrested at 11:46 p.m. for attempted strangulation, battery and disorderly conduct after police responded to a domestic dispute in the 1400 block of 14th Street. Vandervelden was jailed pending court.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE - On Friday:
Jennifer E. Meritt, 19, Brodhead, was cited at 5:58 a.m. for driving with a suspended license on Wisconsin 11 and County OK, Town of Spring Grove. Meritt was released pending court.
Randy R. Ruegsegger, 58, Argyle, was arrested for DWI, fourth offense, after deputies responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on Biggs Road near Puddledock Road, Town of Adams. Ruegsegger was also cited for improper parking on the roadway, he was jailed pending court. Online court records indicate Ruegsegger was convicted of DWI in January 2010 and April 2000, both in Iowa County.
Deputies responded to a report of a party involving underage drinking in the N1900 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of Clarno, which resulted in the citation of six teenagers at 11:29 p.m. Saturday. Tanner J. Klecker, 19, Freeport, was cited for second-offense underage drinking; Danna K. Boeke, 19, Freeport; Riley A. Phillipson, 17, Argyle; Tyler Wallen Williams, 17, Argyle; a 15-year-old girl; and a 16-year-old girl were all cited for first-offense underage drinking.
On Sunday:
Lance W. Kleeman, 29, New Glarus, was arrested at 3:04 a.m. for DWI, third offense, after deputies stopped his vehicle for a moving violation on Wis. 11 at Balls Mill Road, Town of Sylvester. Kleeman was also cited for unsafe lane deviation and a mandatory seatbelt violation. He was jailed pending court. Online court records indicate Kleeman was convicted of DWI in March 2007.
Two young men were cited for underage alcohol consumption after a deputy stopped the vehicle they were in for equipment violations on Wisconsin 59 near Suburban Road, Town of Albany. The driver, Dominic M. Schmidt, 20, Fitchburg, was arrested for violating absolute sobriety. Schmidt was also cited for having a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and obstructed driver's view. A passenger, Joseph H. Pechauer, 20, Madison, was cited for underage alcohol consumption. Both subjects were released pending court.

DARLINGTON - On Friday:
A deputy investigated a theft at 3 p.m. that occurred on Wisconsin 81, Seymour Township. The investigation is ongoing.
A deputy responded at 10:50 p.m. to a cat bite incident on Bernie's Lane, Kendall Township.
On Saturday:
A deputy responded at 9:30 a.m. to a complaint of a vehicle parked on County D, Village of South Wayne, for several days.
A deputy took a report of criminal damage to a mailbox on Mink Farm Road, Wiota Township, at 1:59 p.m.
Mary T. Price-Sullivan, 35, Blanchardville, was arrested at 7:29 p.m. Sunday, for disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Deer Brook Lane, Blanchard Township. Price-Sullivan posted bond and was released.

BRODHEAD - On Sunday, Aug. 3:
Alyson J. Abb, 19, Madison, was cited for underage alcohol consumption at 8 a.m. in the 1300 block of east 2nd Avenue. Abb was released pending court.
Devin S. Nacius, 19, Brodhead, was arrested on a warrant issued through the Albany Police Department. Nacius was jailed pending court.
A juvenile male was cited at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday for underage alcohol consumption in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. He was released pending court.
Braydon J. Collins, 19, Brodhead, was cited at 11:06 p.m. Saturday for underage alcohol consumption in the 1000 block of Exchange Street. Collins was released pending court.
New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - Russell W. Rylander, 54, New Glarus, was cited on Monday, Aug. 4, for a violation on the limitation on the number of dogs at a residence in the 600 block of Windlach Street.
On Tuesday:
Police received a report of a group of juveniles frequently walking in yards in the 200 block of 2nd Street at 9 a.m. The area was checked and everything appeared undisturbed.
Evelyn P. Price, 27, New Glarus, was arrested at 7:50 p.m. for disorderly conduct and battery in a parking lot in the 300 block of Elmer Road after police responded to a 911 call of a disturbance. Price was jailed pending court. New Glarus EMS transported the victim of the battery to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Green County Sheriff's Department and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted on scene.
Police were notified of possible animal neglect in the 600 block of Windlach Street at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday. Officers and the Green County Sheriff's Department Humane Officer inspected the animals and no neglect was found.
Michelle L. Wainwrigth, 48, New Glarus, was arrested at 7:17 p.m. Thursday for disorderly conduct and battery after police were dispatched to a disturbance call inside an apartment complex in the 300 block of Elmer Road. Wainwright was jailed pending court.
