Monroe Police

MONROE - Scott T. Creed, 20, Monroe, was arrested at 8:29 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of 17th Street for an outstanding warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Creed was jailed pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jody E. Schmidt, 35, Bellville, was cited at 8:27 p.m. Wednesday for speeding and driving after suspension after deputies stopped her for a traffic violation on Wisconsin 104 near Wisconsin 59, Town of Albany. Schmidt was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• A deputy responded to a report of suspicious people at 1:06 a.m. on County J, Village of Benton.

• A deputy responded at 8:33 a.m. to a barking dog complaint on South McKnight Street, Village of South Wayne.

• Nathan R. Sweet, 22, South Wayne, was arrested at 8:42 a.m. on a Green County warrant after deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity on County Y, Wiota Township. Sweet was turned over to a green county sheriff's deputy.

• A deputy responded to a report of a dog running at large on Center Street, Village of South Wayne, at 10:45 a.m.

• A deputy was dispatched at 6:29 p.m. to a traffic complaint of a vehicle driving erratically on Wisconsin 78, Wayne Township.

• Mariah M. Ackerman, 17, Fennimore, was cited at 7:02 p.m. for failure to stop at a stop sign on West Mound Road, Belmont Township.
