Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jose M. Murillo, 54, Beloit, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. Monday, April 7, for driving drunk, first offense, after deputies and Brooklyn Police responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on Wisconsin 92 at Glenway Road, Brooklyn Township. Murillo was also cited for driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, unsafe lane deviation and driving without insurance. He was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday, April 7:

• A deputy responded to a traffic complaint at 7:02 a.m. of an erratic driver on Lancaster Road, Lamont Township.

• An adult woman was transported by a private vehicle to Lafayette County Memorial Hospital for a dog bite that occurred on County Z, Willow Springs Township, at 1:05 p.m. The case will be forwarded to the Health Department for follow-up.

• A deputy responded to a 911 hang-up call at 2:05 p.m. on County Shop Road, Darlington Township. The deputy was unable to locate the source of the call.

• Cody M. Pfingsten, 25, Monroe, was cited at 2:17 p.m. for driving after suspension on Wis. 11, Gratiot Township.

• A deputy responded to a residence at 4:05 p.m. on Carr Factory Road, Benton Township, to keep the peace during a civil dispute concerning property.

• A deputy investigated a report of theft at 6 p.m. at a residence on County M, Wiota Township.

• A deputy responded at 6:55 p.m. to a report of a missing child from a residence on Pleasant View Road. The child was located a short time later and was found to be unharmed.

• A deputy responded at 7:45 p.m. to Wis. 81 for a report of livestock in the roadway.
