Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On April 5:

• Andrew D. Miley, 31, Freeport, Illinios, was cited for operating while intoxicated (1st offense) and failure to maintain high-mounted stop lamp at 1:19 a.m. on Cub Hollow Road, Gratiot Township.

• A traffic hazard was reported at 4:14 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs Township.

• Deputies assisted Lafayette County Human Services at 9:49 a.m. on East Center Street in South Wayne.

• A deputy responded at 10:59 a.m. to Bennett Road, New Diggings Township, for a check welfare.

• A deputy assisted Illinois Human Services at 11:28 a.m. on Ohnstad Road, Darlington Township.

• An injured animal was reported at 7:05 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township.

• Hilario Rodriguez, 47, Ingleside, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 7:14 p.m. on Wis. 11, Gratiot Township.

• A deputy responded at 7:57 p.m. to Third Road in Darlington Township, for a controlled burn.

• Warren J. Buchanan, 19, Warren, Illinois, was arrested on valid Lafayette County warrants at 8:08 p.m. following a traffic stop in Grant County. Buchanan was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked, posted bond, and was released.

• Heather A. Hoey, 35, Benton, was cited for no proof of insurance at 8:31 p.m. on East Main Street in the Village of Benton.

• Lauren M. Schultz, 18, South Wayne, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 8:58 p.m. on Wis. 11 in the Village of South Wayne.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On April 4:

• Joshua S. Johnson, 36, Darlington, was arrested at 9:23 p.m. in the 800 block of 4th Avenue West. Johnson was arrested for bail jumping due to a violation of court ordered bail conditions on a previous case prohibiting possessing alcohol. Johnson was also cited for failure to yield right of way, having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, operating while suspended, and operating without insurance. Johnson was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
