ALBANY POLICE

ALBANY - Andrew J. Stephan, 47, Albany, was arrested Wednesday for disorderly conduct and battery.



BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - For the week of March 27 to April 2, there were 135 calls for service, 33 registrations, 24 citizen assists, 20 security checks, 13 assists of other agencies, six EMS calls, five traffic stops, three 911 calls and one fire call.

On March 27, a heavy truck route violation was reported at 5:27 p.m. in the 200 block of 12th Street.

On March 28, several harassing phone calls were reported at 10:01 a.m. in the 1100 block of West 3rd Avenue. The case remains under investigation.

On March 29:

• A gas drive-off was reported at 1:42 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The incident was found to have been an oversight and the driver returned to pay for the gas.

• A juvenile causing a disturbance was reported at 3:04 p.m. in the 900 block of 13th Street.

• A warning was issued at 9:23 p.m. to people shouting in a residential area.

On Wednesday:

• Truancy was reported at 7:29 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

• A 23-year-old Brodhead woman was cited at 12:39 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street for driving without proof of vehicle insurance.

• A 21-year-old Rock Falls, Ill., man was cited at 4:45 p.m. in the 400 block of East 9th Avenue for driving without proof of vehicle insurance.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 8:06 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The incident was found to have been accidental.

On Thursday:

• A 16-year-old Brodhead juvenile was cited at 11 a.m. for truancy in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. The juvenile's mother, a 41-year-old Brodhead woman, was also cited for contributing to the truancy of a minor.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 4:08 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. The victim did not press charges.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On March 28:

• A lost wallet was delivered to the police at 11:15 a.m. by a village employee.

• Malcolm K. Christian, 57, Monroe, was cited at 11:55 a.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wisconsin 69.

• Unregistered and abandoned vehicles were reported at 2:17 p.m. within the village.

• Police assisted a citizen at 7 p.m. with questions about drivers license address changes and voter ID requirements.

On March 29:

• Police cited a vehicle for violating the 12,000-pound vehicle parking ordinance in the 100 block of Hoesly Drive.

• Gregory G. Jepsen, 55, Blanchardville, was cited at 11:13 a.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• Emily E. Riley, 24, Monticello, was cited at 2:44 p.m. for driving without a valid license and without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

• Police warned several juveniles at 8:17 p.m. to stay out of the Village Hall after it had closed.

• Jonathan D. Sole, 24, Monroe, was cited at 10:09 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

On Wednesday:

• A missing juvenile was reported at 2:10 p.m. on 13th Avenue. The juvenile was found shortly thereafter.

• Jonathan P. Guth, 39, Prairie Du Sac, was cited at 2:30 p.m. for failing to register as a transient merchant.

• A citizen reported receiving suspicious calls at 6:57 p.m.

On Thursday:

• Police investigated a suspicious vehicle at 1:32 a.m. in the 90 block of Industrial Avenue.

• Police issued a parking citation at 2:33 a.m. in the 400 block of 2nd Street.

On Friday:

• Drug use in a New Glarus apartment was reported at 3:49 p.m. The case remains under investigation.

• Officers assisted the Green County Sheriff at 9:55 p.m. with a traffic stop in the N7700 block of Wis. 69.

On Saturday, an elevator alarm was triggered at 2:45 p.m. in the 2400 block of Wis. 69. The alarm was found to have been triggered accidentally.

On Sunday:

• A vehicle was cited at 2:20 a.m. for being parked after hours in the 100 block of 6th Avenue.

• Officers assisted the Belleville Police at 2:50 a.m. with an intoxicated driver.

• Halima S. Alawiye, 36, Sun Prairie, was cited at 2:35 p.m. for driving without a valid license and speeding in the 600 block of Wis. 69.

• Police removed trash and limbs from the roadway at 3:47 p.m. at the intersection of 4th Avenue and 5th Street.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - On Saturday, a residential burglary was belatedly reported at 11:38 p.m. in the 3000 block of 15th Street. The incident remains under investigation.

On Sunday:

• Christopher S. Meritt, 25, Brodhead, was arrested at 5:10 a.m. for domestic disorderly conduct and a Department of Corrections probation hold after an unwanted person was reported in the 800 block of 6th Street. Meritt was jailed.

• Dakota Christopher J. Lorenz, 23, Monroe, was arrested at 7:38 a.m. for trespassing in the 1700 block of Lake Drive. Lorenz was jailed.



GREEN COUNTY

SHERIFF

MONROE - Stanley Michael Bennett, 28, Brooklyn, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. for bail jumping in the W2500 block of Wis. 92, Town of Exeter. Bennett was also cited for speeding, driving with a revoked license and driving without vehicle insurance. He was released pending court.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A case of fraud was reported at 10:06 a.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 11:45 a.m. on Stateline Road, Town of Wayne.

• Deputies transported a juvenile at 2:26 p.m. to the Dane County Juvenile Shelter Home.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 4:32 p.m. on Jones Branch Road, Town of Belmont.

• Rafael Aguilar-Huesva, 46, Shullsburg, was cited at 7:18 p.m. for driving without a valid license on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• Camryn N. Lesser, 16, Dubuque, Iowa, was cited at 7:57 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

• Jazmin Gutierrez-Flores, 25, Darlington, was cited at 11:18 p.m. for a license violation on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

On Sunday:

• A deputy provided traffic control at 10:41 a.m. on Christensen Drive in Darlington.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 11:52 a.m. on Shawnee Road, Town of New Diggings.

• A trespasser was reported at 1:30 p.m. on Riverside Lane, Town of Gratiot.

• Nicholas A. Miller, 27, Shullsburg, was cited at 6:20 p.m. for speeding on County W, Town of New Diggings.

• Victor A. Saucedo, 47, Shullsburg, was cited at 9:05 p.m. for following too closely on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

• Makenzie M. Brown, 18, Benton, was cited at 11:07 p.m. for speeding on Aetna Road, Town of New Diggings.

On Sunday:

• Matthew T. Dhamer, 21, Poplar Grove, Ill., was cited at 12:35 a.m. for speeding on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

• Melanie L. Carius, 35, Argyle, was arrested at 1:28 a.m. for disorderly conduct after a domestic dispute was reported on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle. Terry L. Seffrood, 39, Argyle, was also arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. Both were released on bond.

• Robert J. Cole, 34, Shullsburg, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. on a Lafayette County warrant in the 1500 block of U.S. 151, Town of Platteville.

• James A. Turpin, 42, Darlington, was arrested at 2:02 p.m. for disorderly conduct after a domestic dispute was reported on White Oak Road, Town of White Oak Springs. Turpin was released on bond.

• Deputies checked an individual's welfare at 2:50 p.m. on County M, Town of Wiota.

• Jason R. Bugalecki, 31, Kenosha, was cited at 5:49 p.m. for speeding on County W, Town of Monticello.

• Gary W. Simmons, 69, Freeport, Ill., was cited at 6:35 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

• Breanna D. Becker, 21, Belmont, was arrested at 8:11 p.m. for domestic disorderly conduct on East Liberty Street in Belmont. Becker was jailed.

• A domestic dispute was reported at 8:51 p.m. on Locust Street in Blanchardville.
