GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF
MONROE - David E. Buss, 51, Monroe, was arrested at 3:48 a.m. Wednesday for possession of stolen property, marijuana and drug paraphernalia after deputies encountered him at the intersection of County W and Hoesly Drive in New Glarus with a stolen firearm. Buss was jailed.

• An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 6:49 a.m. on School Street in Blanchardville.
• An emergency telephone call was made at 9:09 a.m. on North Main Street in Blanchardville.
• An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 10:18 a.m. on Wisconsin 78, Town of Argyle.
• Suspicious activity was reported at 10:52 a.m. on Bethel Grove Road, Town of Kendall.
• Deputies assisted the Darlington Police at 3:58 p.m. on Galena Street in Darlington.
