DARLINGTON POLICE

DARLINGTON - Alberto Gonzalez-Viveros, 36, and Miguel Velarde-Hernandez, 49, both of Darlington, were arrest at 9:10 p.m. April 12 for identity theft after investigators learned they used separate social security numbers to open bank accounts and find jobs. Velarde-Hernandez was released pending court due to a medical concern; Gonzalez-Viveros remains in custody.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - Stephen D. Detra Jr., 19, Brodhead, was arrested at 12:49 a.m. Monday for felony bail jumping, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer. Detra was jailed.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• Joshua M. Hiatt, 30, Shullsburg, was cited at 11:54 a.m. for driving without proof of vehicle insurance on East Water Street in Shullsburg.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 12:40 p.m. on County J in Benton.

• A traffic complaint was made at 2:37 p.m. on U.S. 151 in Belmont.

• Jolene R. Smith, 55, Argyle, was cited at 8:38 p.m. for speeding on Wisconsin 81, Town of Argyle.

• An erratic driver was reported at 9:39 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.
