DARLINGTON POLICE

DARLINGTON - Stanley K. Smith, 59, Darlington, was cited Sunday for disorderly conduct.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - On Friday, Joseph D. Ruegsegger, 23, Monroe, was arrested at 11:28 p.m. for driving while intoxicated (second offense) and with a prohibited alcohol concentration in the 1800 block of 6th Street. Ruegsegger was released pending court.

On Saturday:

• Derek J. Morgan, 25, Monroe, was arrested at 1:22 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, with a prohibited alcohol concentration and with a revoked license in the 400 block of 14th Avenue.

• Richard W. Jarosz, 48, Monroe, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, with a prohibited alcohol concentration and failing to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of 17th Street and 14th Avenue.

• Jay H. Gierhart, 26, Monroe, was arrested at 8:51 p.m. for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property in the 1400 block of 15th Avenue. Gierhart was jailed.

On Sunday, a set of keys were found on the terrace at 15th Street and 20th Avenue. The owner may claim the keys at the Monroe Police Department.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On April 10:

• A dog at large was reported at 12:48 p.m. in the 400 block of 10th Avenue.

• A disturbance was reported at 3:37 p.m. in the 700 block of 6th Avenue.

• Selina J. Alba, 19, New Glarus, was cited at 6 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on 6th Avenue.

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 6:57 p.m. in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.

• Yesenia M. Gamillo, 32, Belleville, was cited at 7:20 p.m. for illegal window tinting on Wis. 69.

• Steven E. Hummel, 41, Monticello, was cited at 8:34 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

On April 11:

• Police assisted a citizen at 12:40 a.m. in the 10 block of 6th Avenue.

• Patrick L. Schulfer, 24, Stevens Point, was cited at 6:06 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• Donald F. Elmer, 60, New Glarus, was cited at 6:27 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• William J. M. Lounsbury, 46, Belleville, was cited at 6:47 p.m. for a seatbelt violation and driving without a valid license on Wis. 69.

• Robert P. Graf, 57, Minnetonka, Minnesota, was cited at 7:22 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

On Wednesday:

• A suspicious person was reported at 7:06 a.m. in the 200 block of 2nd Street.

• A loud noise was reported at 9:32 a.m. in the 300 block of 5th Street.

• A traffic complaint was made at 3:44 p.m. on Wis. 69.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 3:58 p.m. with traffic control in the W6100 block of Wis. 39.

• Carla B. Kelley, 44, Monticello, was cited at 7:11 p.m. for illegal window tinting on Wis. 69.

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 9:05 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Street.

• Police talked to a construction crew at 9:23 p.m. after noise complaints were made in the 1000 block of Wis. 69.

On Thursday:

• A fraudulent online transaction was reported at 10:07 a.m.

• Social media harassment was reported at 12:08 p.m. in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.

• Sara L. Cadmus, 39, Madison, was cited at 8:52 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

• Police helped a citizen at 7:13 p.m. with questions regarding a police case.

On Friday:

• Police cited a semi truck for illegal parking in the 100 block of Hoesly Drive.

• An animal complaint was made at 12:37 p.m. in the Village Park.

• A lost car fob was reported at 4:27 p.m.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:01 p.m. on Hoesly Drive.

On Saturday:

• A civil complaint was made at 10:20 a.m.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 12:41 a.m. with a possibly intoxicated driver on County J.

• Illegal narcotics were reported at 1 p.m. in the 300 block of Elmer Road.

• An animal complaint was made at 1:17 p.m. in the Village Park.

• Police responded at 2:31 p.m. to a disturbance involving an intoxicated person in the 500 block of 1st Street.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 3:11 p.m. in the 400 block of 4th Avenue.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 9:41 p.m. in the 200 block of Industrial Drive.

On Sunday:

• A lost cell phone (a red U.S. Cellular flip phone) was reported at 8:20 p.m. in the 600 block of 6th Avenue. Anyone who finds such a phone is encouraged to contact the New Glarus Police Department.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 9:38 p.m. with a case in the N7900 block of County CC.

• Police issued a warning at 11:25 p.m. to an improperly parked vehicle.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - Steven W. Wahl, 37, Monroe, was arrested at 10:22 p.m. Saturday for driving while intoxicated (first offense), driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, driving left of the centerline, driving with open intoxicants and driving too fast for road conditions.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• An injured deer was reported at 6:38 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 6:56 a.m. on Swanson Road, Town of Wayne.

• An injured deer was reported at 8:16 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 9:08 a.m. on Meier Road, Town of Wayne.

• A traffic complaint was made at 11:01 a.m. on East Louisa Street in Darlington.

• Justin A. Vance, 28, Beloit, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. for domestic disorderly conduct after a dispute was reported on Lake Road, Town of Argyle. Tyler J. Byers, 31, Beloit, was also arrested for a parole violation.

On Saturday:

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 12:30 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle.

• A 911 misdial occurred at 2:10 a.m. on South Main Street in Blanchardville.

• Matthew S. Wylie, 29, Darlington, was arrested at 3:18 a.m. on valid Lafayette County warrants.

• A deputy responded at 3:39 p.m. to a traffic hazard on County M, Town of Darlington.

• A domestic dispute was reported at 1:40 p.m. on Keep Street in Darlington.

• A deputy responded at 7:47 p.m. to a parking problem on Main Street in Gratiot.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 8:44 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

• A deputy investigated an open door at 9:10 p.m. on East Center Street in South Wayne.
