Albany Police

ALBANY - Brett B. Granzow, 22, Albany, was arrested Tuesday, April 10, on an outstanding warrant for failure to pay child support.

- Terry J. Morton, 49, Albany, was arrested Wednesday, April 11, on a charge of driving while under the influence (second offense) and driving with a revoked license.

- Aaron M. Kuebli, 21, Albany, was cited Sunday, April 15, for disorderly conduct.

Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Christopher M. Arn, 27, Brodhead, was arrested in the 1000 block of 21st Street at 8:54 a.m. Sunday, April 8, on warrants issued by the Green County and Rock County Circuit Courts. He was jailed in Rock County.

- Allen A. Cochran, 47, Brodhead, was issued a citation for disorderly conduct on Sunday, April 8, stemming from an incident on April 1.

- A 16-year-old Brodhead male was issued a citation for inattentive driving on Monday, April 9, stemming from an incident on March 28.

- A Brodhead juvenile female was cited for improper passing or right turn in front of a stopped school bus at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, in the 2000 block of West 9th Avenue.

- Catlin C. Wiese, 24, Brodhead, was arrested in the 400 block of 2nd Street at 7:34 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, on a warrant issued by the Green County Circuit Court. Bond was paid, and a court date was issued.

- A Brodhead juvenile male was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:08 a.m. Thursday, April 12, in the 900 block of 19th Street.

- Leonard D. Hatter, 50, Brodhead, was issued five citations Friday, April 13, for keeping junk vehicles.

- Britney F. Carpenter, 24, Brodhead, was cited in the 1400 block of 19th Street at 11:53 a.m. Friday, April 13, for failure to stop at a stop sign.

- Jamie L. Crubel, 29, Brodhead, was cited on Saturday, April 14, for issuing worthless checks.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Jeramiah R. Fuchs, 23, Monroe, was arrested for several outstanding warrants issued by Lafayette County for unpaid traffic citations at 2:25 a.m. Sunday, April 15, after he was stopped at 15th Street and 21st Avenue for an improper vehicle registration. He was jailed in Lafayette County.

- John P. Spangler, 48, and brothers Xhemal Rushiti, 49, and Dzelal Rushiti, 51, were cited for disorderly conduct after police were called at 6:49 p.m. Sunday, April 15, for an argument that had turned physical at the Red Apple Inn, 1019 8th St. The Rushiti brothers, who own Red Apple, reportedly kicked Spangler out of their restaurant after he argued with them over a bicycle parked outside and made disparaging comments to them. The dispute escalated in the parking lot into a three-person fight with shoving and punching, according to Police Chief Fred Kelley. There were no injuries.

- Two purses and their contents were reportedly stolen out of an unlocked vehicle parked in the lot of a Stop N Go gas station, 1607 9th St., at 10:38 p.m. Friday, April 13. Another purse theft, again out of an unlocked vehicle at the same location, was reported at 12:23 p.m. Saturday, April 14.

- A motorized push lawnmower worth about $100 was reported as stolen from a yard in the 2400 block of 12th Street at 6:29 p.m. Saturday, April 14.

- A tan and white pitbull terrier found abandoned in the 400 block of West 21st Street was impounded and turned over to the Green County Humane Society at 7:21 a.m. Friday, April 13.

- A white Maltese dog found in the 1000 block of 10th Street was impounded and turned over to the Green County Humane Society at 9:04 a.m. Friday, April 13.

- A property owner in the 1400 block of 23rd Avenue was given notice at 1:33 p.m. Friday, April 13, to fix an inadequately fenced pool.

- An apartment complex manager in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue West reported finding a beheaded duck behind the complex at 5:55 p.m. Friday, April 13. Police disposed of the deceased duck.

- Police took a report at 9:08 p.m. Friday, April 13, that a vehicle in the 100 block of West 8th Street had been doused in eggs and ketchup. No damages.

- A street sign in the 2200 block of 4th Avenue West was reported as damaged at 6:29 a.m. Saturday, April 14.

- Vehicle eggings were reported Saturday, April 14, in the 1700 block of 16th Street, 1300 block of 18th Street and 1000 block of 4th Street North.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Jonathan D. Ochsner, 35, Monroe, was cited for speeding at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, on 14th Avenue at 4th Street.

- Charles L. Hinh, 26, New Glarus, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 3:40 p.m. Friday, April 13, after police stopped him for an equipment violation on 2nd Street at 6th Avenue.

- Thomas G. Saunders, 25, Belleville, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 5:35 p.m. Friday, April 13, after police stopped him for an equipment violation on County W at Hoesly Drive.

- Christopher S. Capps, 19, New Glarus, was cited for imprudent speeding and having an expired vehicle registration at 7:06 p.m. Friday, April 13, on Wis. 69 at 6th Avenue.

- David C. Falk, 28, New Glarus, was cited for driving with a revoked license at 8:56 p.m. Sunday, April 15, after police stopped him for a traffic infraction on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

- Police responded at 1:43 p.m. Friday, April 13, to a complaint of a disorderly student that was attempting to bite other students at New Glarus High School. No injuries were reported.

- Police investigated a complaint at 4:12 p.m. Saturday, April 14, that a "Recall Walker" sign on 5th Street had been vandalized. The incident is under investigation.

- A child's red wagon was reportedly stolen from behind a business in the 400 block of 2nd Street at 3:20 p.m. Sunday, April 15.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Elizabeth G. Anderson, 22, Argyle, was cited in W5300 block of County DR in the Town of Monroe at 5:16 a.m. Sunday, April 15, for driving while intoxicated (first offense), having a prohibited alcohol concentration and keeping open intoxicants in a vehicle.

- Nickolas J. Obert, 19, Lake Summerset, Ill., was cited for driving too fast for conditions and failure to maintain control of a vehicle at 11:45 p.m. Saturday, April 14, following a one-vehicle accident in the Town of Clarno. The vehicle Obert was driving reportedly spun into a ditch and tipped onto its roof as he was turning onto County B from Wisconsin 69. When the vehicle overturned, it landed on a handicapped parking sign belonging to the Town of Clarno. Speed and wet conditions contributed to the accident, according to the Sheriff's Department. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene. Obert reported no injuries.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Michael J. Henshaw, 26, Cuba City, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 7:44 p.m. Friday, April 13, on Carr Factory Road in the Town of Benton. He was jailed.

- Steven J. Victory, 23, Mineral Point, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, battery and criminal damage to property at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, April 14, following a disturbance on

Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.

- Donna J. Sersch, 53, Belmont, was cited for speeding at 6:22 p.m. Friday, April 13, on Wis. 81 in the Town of Seymour.

- Taylor K. Stanley, 18, Roscoe, Ill., was cited for speeding at 8:06 p.m. Saturday, April 14, on Wis. 23 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Adam L. Andrews, 22, Belmont, was cited for a motorcycle permit violation at 8:18 p.m. Saturday, April 14, on Wis. 126 in the Town of Belmont.

- Animal neglect was reported at 7:10 p.m. Friday, April 13, on Wis. 81 in the Town of Argyle.

- The theft of a small utility trailer was reported at 4:10 p.m. Saturday, April 14, from a location on Roller Coaster Road in the Town of Darlington. A person familiar with the missing trailer reported seeing the trailer towed behind a truck in a business parking lot in Darlington. Deputies searched the area with the assistance of the Darlington Police but were unable to locate the truck or trailer. The case remains under investigation.
