Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Silverio Perez Barrios, 28, Monroe, was arrested for third-offense driving with no valid License and cited for driving without required headlamps, following a traffic stop at about 3:45 a.m. Sunday in the N1800 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of Clarno. He was released pending court.

- Matthew H. Larse, 26, Brodhead, was cited for first-offense driving while intoxicated and open intoxicants in a vehicle at about 11 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 11/81 and County S. Larse was released pending court.

- Jacob J. Olson, 23, Madison, was cited for speeding, failure to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of an address change and driving with a revoked license at about 5 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 69 at Hefty Road. He was released pending court.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - DuWayne C. Barton, 48, Rosendale, was cited for a seatbelt violation at about 6:15 a.m. Friday on County E in the Town of Darlington.

- Scott T. Sanholm, 59, Platteville was cited for speeding at about 1:30 p.m. Friday on Wis. 11 in the Town of Benton.

- Samantha J. Byers, 22, Belvidere, Ill., was cited for speeding at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 23 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Danny J. Holland, 55, Apple River, Ill., was cited for speeding at about 4:15 p.m. Saturday on County W the Town of Gratiot.

- Nicholas J. King, 20, Darlington, was cited for speeding at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 23 in the Township of Willow Springs.

- Ching Yu Iu, 24, Madison, was cited for no insurance at about 4 a.m. Sunday on Jericho Road in the Town of Belmont.

Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Charles E. Swenson, 65, Brodhead, was arrested at about 7 p.m. April 6 in the 1700 block of E. 2nd Avenue for driving while intoxicated, prohibited alcohol concentration, open intoxicants in a vehicle, urinating in public and theft of movable property. He was released with a court date.

- John R. Clark, 39, Evansville, was arrested for driving after suspension at about 8 p.m. April 4 in the 700 block of 1st Street. He was released with a court date.

- Ryan J. Hendricks, 25, Brodhead, was arrested on an Iowa County Circuit Court warrant at about 5:15 p.m. Friday. He was transported to Iowa County.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Allen S. Bechtolt, 26, Monroe, was arrested for disorderly conduct and battery under domestic abuse laws following a disturbance at about1:30 a.m. Friday in the 1700 block of 30th Avenue. He was jailed.

- Lucas J. Newcomer, 18, Monroe, was arrested for disorderly conduct, trespassing, resisting arrest, underage consumption of alcohol and a Wisconsin Department of Corrections hold at about 2 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of 29th Avenue. He was jailed.

- Randy A. Gerber, 22, Monroe, was arrested on a Clark County Sheriff's Department warrant at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday. He posted bond and was released.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Travis L. Patterson, 23, New Glarus, was arrested for battery under domestic abuse laws, bail jumping, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, at about 3 a.m. April 4 in the 1200 block of 5th Street. He was jailed.

- Randall S. Zuber, 33, Monticello, was arrested at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday by Monticello police for felony bail jumping, disorderly conduct, and resisting or obstructing an officer. He was jailed. New Glarus police assisted with the arrest.

- Ralph Stammen, 57, New Glarus, was arrested for disorderly conduct, battery to an officer, and resisting or obstructing an officer, following a report of a disturbance at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of 12th Avenue. Police report Stammen tried to flee the scene while officers were investigating the disturbance. Officers chased Stammen, and an altercation took place when they caught him. Stammen was jailed, and the Department of Corrections placed a probation hold on him.

- Police are investigating a report, filed at about 7 p.m. Sunday, for a theft of a fire extinguisher and hall rugs from an apartment complex in New Glarus. Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Glarus Police Department at (608) 527-2145.
