Pauline M. Ferguson age 85 of Monroe, Wisconsin died on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at her home. She was born September 14, 1926 in Gratiot Township, Lafayette County, Wisconsin the daughter of Lewis Merrill and Martha (Reimer) Reed and graduated from Gratiot High School in 1943. Pauline married Rodney H. Block on May 10, 1951 in Monroe and later married John L. Ferguson on June 12, 1977 in Monroe. Pauline worked for Frito Lay in Monroe and later for Industrial Combustion in Monroe. She was a member of Monroe United Methodist Church, lifetime member of Cecil Jones VFW Post #2312 Auxiliary, lifetime member of Monroe Kiwanis Club, and she enjoyed serving luncheon for service clubs & organizations.
She is survived by a brother, Orval (Leona) Reed of Gratiot, WI; a sister, Joyce (Gene) Rufer of Monroe, WI; step-children, Dean (Donna) Ferguson of Monticello, WI, Debra Ferguson of Madison, WI, & Diane (Richard) Willborn of Madison, IL; 11 step-grandchildren; and 14 step-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents; husbands; stepson, Dennis Ferguson; brothers, Lewis & Dwight Reed; and sister, Margaret Wehinger.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Monroe United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Booth officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive & N. 18th Avenue in Monroe.
