FREEPORT - Patricia G. Hendrickson, 66, of Freeport, died Wednesday, December 24, 2008, at Rockford Memorial Hospital.
Born July 20, 1942 in Beatrice, Nebraska, she was the daughter of Andrew and Margaret (Oswalt) Schild. She married Robert C. Hendrickson July 2, 1961 at Argyle United Methodist Church in Argyle, Wisconsin.
Pat worked at Crum & Forster Insurance Company, Economy Insurance Company, but is best remembered by the community as the Demonstration Lady at Cub Foods.
Pat will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandma.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Robert of Freeport; 2 daughters, Amy B. (Rod) Williams of Freeport and Jennifer L. (Brian Fredrickson) of Littleton, Colorado; 3 sons, Robert C. (Jane) Hendrickson Jr., Barrie A. (Terri) Hendrickson, and Christopher J. (Tina) Hendrickson, all of Freeport; 1 brother, Donald (Judy) Schild of Argyle, Wisconsin; 9 grandchildren, Julie, Robbie, Andrew, Tasha, Ashley, Jimmy, Tyler, Brianna, and Mariah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, biological father, Donald Kuhlemeyer, and 1 brother, Andrew Larry Schild.
Visitation will be Sunday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
Funeral service will be Monday 11 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church with Reverend John W. Lee officiating.
Following the funeral service cremation rites will be accorded and her cremated remains will be interred in a private ceremony at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Memorials have been established for the American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation, American Diabetes Association, or the charity of your choice.
