Norman "Shorty" Notter, age 70, of Monroe, died on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Monroe Manor Nursing Home. He was born on April 8, 1944 in Monroe, the son of Herman and Vera (Kloepping) Notter.
He was employed as a custodian for Argyle Industries. He also helped maintain the Blackhawk Park in Woodford.
Norman enjoyed the outdoors; especially hunting, fishing, trapping, and mushroom hunting.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Jane (Robert) Tuescher of Monroe; brothers, Richard (Grace) Notter of Monticello; Roger Notter of Argyle; James Notter of Browntown; Randall Notter of Argyle; sister-in-law, Patricia Notter of Browntown; and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, brother, Daniel, nephew, Jeffrey Notter.
A celebration of Norman's life will be held Sunday March 8, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Lelle's Bar in Woodford.
