Nathan F. Bidlingmaier, age 74 of Brodhead, formerly of Monroe, died Friday, September 5, 2014 at Collinwood Care in Brodhead. Nathan was born on November 10, 1939 in Monroe, the son of William and Lena (Thoman) Bidlingmaier. He graduated from Monticello High School in 1957. Nathan was a farmer at heart and he loved nature.

He is survived by three sisters, Dorothy (Dallas) Wild of Monroe, Shirley Anderson of New Glarus, Jean (Daryl) Kleckner of Monona; a brother-in-law, Herb Baumgartner of Monroe; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Merlyn and Sylvan Bidlingmaier; and three sisters, Lorene Durtschi, Evelyn Moritz, and Marian Baumgartner.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at the Washington Reformation United Church of Christ, Monticello, with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. The service will be followed by a light lunch and fellowship. Inurnment will be in the Washington Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
