MONROE - A Monroe man was arrested after he allegedly pointed a pistol at another man in the course of a dispute Sunday, June 2.
Kenneth Claus Greve, Jr., 28, faces misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and intentionally pointing a firearm at a person.
Greve was arrested and jailed after Monroe police investigated an incident that occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday at his residence in the 500 block of 21st Street.
According to police reports, Greve was at home with his girlfriend when her 32-year-old ex-husband stopped by to pick up their children. The exes got into an argument about a ball belonging to the children. In the course of the argument, Greve took out a pistol and pointed the weapon a few inches from the ex-husband's head.
The exes' two young boys witnessed Greve point the gun, police say.
His signature bond was set at $1,500 Monday, June 3. Conditions of his bond stipulate that he move out, having no violent or abusive with the girlfriend and have no contact with the alleged victim.
His next court date is July 16.
