MONROE - Police continue to search from a 27-year-old man who failed to report back to jail after his Huber Law work release program almost two weeks ago.
"We have little information funnel in about his whereabouts," said Green County Sheriff Jeff Skatrud. "We continue our attempts to return him to custody."
At about 12:08 p.m. Aug. 4, Samuel R. Schutte, 27, Monroe, failed to report back to jail after being released to search for a job.
A warrant was then issued for his arrest on an escape charge.
At the time he disappeared, Schutte was being held for a child support payment matter. Police described Schutte as a white male, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Authorities are urging those who have information about the case to call police.
