Maribelle Lee Bolender, 74, of Orangeville, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in her home following an extended illness from Lewy Body Dementia.

She was born December 28, 1933 in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of John and Helen (Lauri) Jenkins.

On September 17, 1955, Maribelle married Jack Bolender in Freeport, Illinois. He died March 20, 1975.

Mrs. Bolender was a homemaker and worked as a supervisor for The Swiss Colony in Monroe, Wisconsin.

She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Freeport.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilee Howe, Orangeville; her sister, Carolyn (Don) Bowers, Dakota, Illinois; her special friend, Bob Bolender, Cedarville, Illinois; his daughters, Jodie (Tom) Smith and Candie (Dave) Koertner; her grandchildren, Matthew Mitchell, Michael Mitchell, Johnathon Howe, Thomas Howe, Stephanie (Daniel) Aeling, Justin (Amber) Koertner, Taryn Smith, Brandon and Taylor Smith; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Makayla Aeling; also Family Angels Paul Harty, Julie Grabow, Jennifer Gitz and Cindy Rackow.

Maribelle was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 26, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Manuel "Manny" Recera officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with a scripture service beginning at 4 p.m. There will also be a visitation Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
