MONROE - A Monroe man who faces four felony counts of Medicaid fraud waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday.
Anthony Anglin, 28, appeared in Green County Circuit Court for a status conference before Judge Thomas Vale. He is represented by defense lawyer Joseph Pecora. Wisconsin Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Gabrysiak appeared by telephone for the state.
A criminal complaint alleges Anglin knowingly made false statements between June 13, 2009 to April 19, 2010 in support of claims for payment for Medicaid reimbursement relating to transportation for four patients through Anglin's business, Anglin Transport Services, Inc.
No pleas were entered on the four Medicaid fraud charges, all class H felonies. An arraignment was set for 10:30 a.m. Oct. 26.
