DARLINGTON - A 19-year-old from Belmont is charged with having sexual contact in early April with a girl five years his junior.
Jamison Russell Schumacher faces a Class D felony charge of child enticement with sexual contact, filed against him May 22.
The charge stems from an incident April 5 involving a 14-year-old girl identified in court records as being in eighth grade.
According to court records:
A Lafayette County deputy was driving on West Mound Road in Belmont Township when he saw suspicious activity in a vehicle parked along a driveway leading to an Amish farm. Schumacher and the girl were found in the car.
Schumacher is currently on probation for similar felony convictions from last year, including exposing a child to harmful materials and causing mental harm to a child. He was ordered not to have contact with anyone younger than 17 as a condition of probation.
Schumacher's preliminary hearing is June 24 for the latest, pending charge.
