DARLINGTON — Two children were in the car when a Darlington man was arrested for his 4th OWI, Oct. 14. Isidro Morales-Alonso, age 32 of Darlington, was stopped after driving erratically at about 3:10 p.m. in a school zone on Center Hill Rd.

The children, ages two and four, were not restrained in child car seats. After Morales-Alonso was booked into the Lafayette County Jail. The children were taken into custody and released to Lafayette County Human Services.

Morales-Alonso also received citations for speeding in a school zone (20+ MPH), violation of child safety restraints, operating without a valid license, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and possessing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.
