Green County Sheriff

On Feb. 26:

● At 11:02 a.m., Deputies responded to a residence in the W9400 block of Trotter Road, in the Town of Jordan, for a domestic abuse incident. Investigation resulted in Robert L. Fisher, 41 of Argyle being arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Battery, both domestic related. Fisher was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.

On Feb. 27:

● At approximately 2:31 p.m. , Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office and took Jonathan D.D. Sole, 31 of Madison, and Matthew D. Gilbertson, 39 of Monroe, into custody for probation holds. Jonathan and Matthew were confined at the Green County Jail.

On Feb. 28:

● At approximately 11:40 a.m., Deputies responded to the N4000 of Park Rd, Decatur Township, for a domestic incident. Investigation resulted in Leonard M. Richardson, 67, being arrested for Domestic Related Disorderly Conduct.  Richardson was jailed pending bond or court.

● At approximately 7:52 p.m., GRSO Dispatch received a traffic complaint of a northbound vehicle in the N4100 blk of STH 69. Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Deputies stopped the vehicle in the N5600 blk of STH 69, Town of Washington, and spoke to the driver, Kimberly Cross, 50 of Monroe. Investigation resulted in Kimberly being placed under arrest for Operating While Under the Influence of a Restricted Controlled Substance-1st Offense. Kimberly was released to a responsible party with a court date.

On March 1:

● At approximately 11:40 a.m., Deputies responded to the N7300 County Highway X, Town of Brooklyn, for a report of a physical assault. Investigations resulted in Justin W Hartwig, 37, of Albany, being arrested for Battery, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting an Officer. Hartwig was incarcerated at the Green County Jail. 

● At approximately 3:32 p.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6th St, City of Monroe, to place Trever L Martin, 29, of Monroe, for a probation/parole violation. Martin was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

On March 4:

● At approximately 8:12 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the N4300 block of CTH N, Town of Monroe, for a vehicle operating left of center and not maintaining its lane. The driver was identified as Walter Castellno-Castellno, 24, of Monroe and was advised for the reason of the stop. An investigation was conducted and resulted into Walter being placed under arrest for Operating While Under the Influence of Alcohol – 1st Offense. Walter was issued citations for OWI and Operating Without a Valid License – 1st Offense. Walter was later released to a responsible party pending a future mandatory court date.

Alcohol — 1st Offense and was also cited for Operating with Prohibited Alcohol Concentration. — Greater than .15%. Joshua was released to a responsible party with a mandatory court date.


Monticello Police

On Jan. 18:

● At approximately 7:45 a.m., Officers had received information on a suspicious incident/solicitation for sex within the village.  The incident is currently under investigation. 

● At approximately 4:41 p.m., Officers conducted traffic control on N. Main Street at E. Coates Avenue for the Monticello Fire Department who were responding to a call. 

● At approximately 6:41 p.m., Officers responded to the 200 block of N. Main Street for a 911 hang up call.  Officers made contact and it was found to be an accidental dial.  Everything appeared to be okay.  No further action was needed. 


Monroe Police

On Feb. 19:

● At approximately 12:18 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of 16th Street for a stopping violation. Investigation into the stop resulted in John M. May, 43, Monroe, being arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence 1st Offense. John was also arrested for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and cited for an Improper Stop at a Stop Line. John was released pending court.

● At approximately 1:29 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2900 block of 13th Street for a vehicle registration violation. Investigation into the stop resulted in the driver, Felida M. Thompson, 25, Janesville, being arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence. Felicia was also arrested for Possession of Schedule I or II Narcotic, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Prescription Drug without a prescription. Felicia was also cited for Operating After Suspension of Vehicle Registration. Felida’s passenger, Monique L. Kreger, 28, Janesville, was arrested for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,  Possession of a Prescription Drug without a Prescription and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. Monique was held at the Green County Jail pending bond or court. Felicia was held at the Green County Jail pending court.

On Feb. 21:

● 7:40 p.m., officers were called to a business in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West for a shoplifting complaint. An investigation led to the arrest of David L. Ellis, 36, Rockford, IL, on a charge of felony retail theft, and misdemeanor bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions on a prior case. Ellis was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

On Feb. 24:

● 11:11 a.m., officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1100 block of l8th Avenue. An investigation led to the arrest of Sean P. Flynn, 51, Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Flynn was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance

On Feb. 25:

● 7:03 p.m., officers were called to a business in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West for a shoplifting complaint. An investigation led to Candice M. Dailey, 35, Argyle, being cited for retail theft, and being released pending a court appearance.

On March 1:

● 12:53 a.m., officers arrested Adam L. Lindsay, 28, Monroe, following a traffic offense stop in the 600 block of 8th Avenue. Lindsay was charged with operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration and misdemeanor bail jumping due to violating bail conditions on a prior case. Lindsay was also cited for operating without an ignition interlock device and operating after revocation-alcohol related conviction, Lindsay was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

● 2:49 a.m., officers arrested Carolina M. Bartosik, 23, Monroe, in the 2000 block of 4th Street, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole, for a probation violation. Bartosik was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.

On March 3:

● 8:59 p.m., officers were called for a report of a domestic disturbance that occurred earlier at a residence in the 1700 block of l7th Street. An investigation led to the arrest of Brian E. Lobeck, 46, Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct and battery under Wisconsin Domestic Violence laws. Lobeck was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
