Julie A McGuire, 56, Monroe was traveling northbound on STH 126 in her 2018 Jeep when she crossed the centerline, entered the ditch and rolled over, coming to rest on its top. McGuire denied EMS and her vehicle was towed form the scene with disabling damage. McGuire was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and Operating Left of Center.

Jenkins, 18, Brooklyn was traveling southbound on STH 78 when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed the centerline, entered the ditch and overturned. Jenkins reported minor injuries. ● 4:11 AM A deputy responded to CTH F, Fayette Township, for a one vehicle rollover. Upon arrival the vehicle was unoccupied. The 2006 Pontiac owned by Jostin L Amador-Mendez, 29, Darlington received minor damage and was towed from the scene. Lafayette County Highway Department assisted on scene.

Jason M Schmidt, 45, Darlington was traveling on N Lake Rd, when he lost control of his vehicle, due to slippery conditions, causing the vehicle to exit the roadway, enter the ditch and strike a tree. Schmidt’s 2012 Chevrolet received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Argyle Fire Department and Argyle EMS assisted on scene.

Troy V Kenyon, 51, Darlington was traveling on CTH E when he lost control of his vehicle, striking a bridge, due to slippery road conditions. Kenyon’s 2019 Ford received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Green County Sheriff
On Dec. 20:
● At approximately 5:20 p.m., Deputies stopped and cited Anthony J. Klein, 36 of Beloit, for speed (71 MPH in a 55 MPH zone), in the W3800 block of State highway 11, Town of Sylvester. Further investigation resulted in Anthony being placed under arrest for Operating While Under the Influence of a Restricted Controlled Substance - 2nd Offense. Anthony was transported to the Green County Jail where he was released to a responsible party.
● At approximately 11:10 PM, Deputies responded to the W8700 block of State Highway 39, Town of York, for a report of a vehicle in the ditch. Investigation determined the operator, Olivia C. Saucedo, 24 of Mt. Horeb, was traveling west on STH 39 when she swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle entered the north ditch and became stuck in a wooded embankment. Olivia reported wearing her seatbelt and not being injured. There was airbag deployment in the vehicle, and it was towed from the scene due to disabling damage.
On Dec. 21:
● At approximately 6:37 p.m., Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the W2600 block of State Highway 11, Town of Jefferson. Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Aiden M Grey, 18, of Davis (IL), was westbound on State Highway 11 when a deer entered the roadway. Grey slowed his vehicle and was struck from the rear by a vehicle operated by Vaughn L Barker, 19, of Monroe. Grey and Barker both denied injury and reported wearing their seatbelts. The airbags in Barker’s vehicle deployed. Grey’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. Barker’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
● At 3:49 a.m., Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash in the N1600 block of State Highway 69, Town of Clarno. Investigations found Christopher L Brinkmeier, 30, of Monroe, was traveling southbound when he lost control of his vehicle and entered the West ditch, striking a road sign. Brinkmeier reported no injuries, reported wearing his seatbelt, and no airbag deployment. Brinkmeier’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was towed from the scene. As a result of the investigation Brinkmeier was arrested Operating While Under the Influence and Operating after Revocation.
On Dec. 23:
● At approximately 9:09 p.m., Deputies responded to 300 block of E. State St., Village of Albany, for a report of a two vehicle crash without injuries. Deputies arrived on scene and spoke with the driver, Hunter Brewer, 22, of Brodhead, who reported that he was traveling west bound when he had swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle being operated on State St. When Hunter negotiated around the oncoming vehicle, he was unable to control his vehicle due to the snow covered roadway. Hunter’s vehicle collided with the rear end of a parked vehicle owned by Beau York, 30, of Albany, where it came to a rest. Hunter reported wearing his safety belt and was uninjured. Both vehicles sustained functional damage with no airbag deployment. Hunter was issued citations for failure to maintain control and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
● At approximately 10:02 p.m., Deputies and Monroe PD responded to N4721 Gutzmer Rd., Town of Monroe, for a report of an active physical disturbance. Investigation resulted in the offender, Caleb J. McIntosh, 18, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct - Domestic, Criminal Damage to Property and a warrant through the Department of Corrections. Caleb is being held at the Green County Jail pending his initial court appearance.
On Dec. 24:
● At approximately 5:07 p.m., Deputies responded to the W1800 block of Hein Rd., Town of Decatur, for a report of a verbal altercation. Investigation resulted in the offender, Teryl F. Watson, 59 of Brodhead, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Damage to Property falling under Wisconsin’s Domestic Abuse Laws. Teryl was booked and released at the Green County Jail and was released to a responsible party with a future court date.
On Dec. 26:
● At 7:35 a.m., Deputies responded to the W800 block of County Highway F, in the Town of Decatur, for a two-vehicle crash Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Jimmy L. Klenz, 45 of Brodhead was traveling westbound when he collided with a semi unit also traveling westbound. Klenz and his passenger advised they were not injured, were wearing their seatbelts, and the airbags did not deploy. Klenz’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. The semi was operated by Travis E. Niles, 49 of Edgerton. Niles reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The semi sustained no damage and was driven from the scene.
On Dec. 29:
● At approximately 12:47 p.m., Deputies, the Brodhead Fire Department, Green County EMS and the Wisconsin DNR, responded to the N1300 block of Mt. Hope Rd., Town of Spring Grove, for a report of a rollover crash involving a propane tanker. Investigation revealed the operator, Paul E. Babler, 52 of Rock City, IL, was traveling on Mt. Hope Rd. when the tanker truck entered the west ditch, lost traction, and rolled onto the driver’s side. Paul reported wearing his seatbelt and sustained minor injuries. There was no airbag deployment in the tanker and it was towed from the scene due to disabling damage. Paul was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control of his vehicle.
On Jan. 1:
● At 8:52 a.m., Deputies responded to the W9500 block of Trotter Road, in the Town of Jordan, for a vehicle versus tree crash with no injuries. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Julie A. Kleier, 32 of Argyle was traveling eastbound when she lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions. The vehicle then entered the south ditch and collided with a tree. Kleier reported no injuries, was wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags did deploy. The vehicle sustained functional damage and was towed from the scene.
On Jan. 3:
● At approximately 5:26 a.m., Deputies, Blanchardville EMS and the Blanchardville Fire Department, responded to the N9000 block of State Highway 78, Town of York, for a report of a two vehicle crash with injury. Investigation determined the operator of a northbound vehicle, Jason R. Lawinger, 44 of Blanchardville, slowed down due to deer in the roadway. While doing so, Jason was rear-ended by another northbound vehicle being operated by Codie D. Mau, 26 of Blanchardville. Jason reported wearing his seatbelt and was transported by EMS to be further evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries. Codie also sustained non-life-threatening injuries but was evaluated at the scene and declined transport. Codie was ultimately cited for Following too Close and was released with a future court date. Both vehicles were towed due to disabling damage.
● At approximately 11:38 a.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of State Highway 81 and County Highway N, Town of Monroe, for a report of a two vehicle crash with injury. Investigation determined a westbound vehicle, being operated by Brian E. Snider, 51 of Monroe, was struck by a northbound vehicle that failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection. The operator of the northbound vehicle, Kenneth R. Zimmerman, 71 of Monticello, reported he and his passenger were wearing their seatbelts and were not injured. Brian reported wearing his seatbelt and declined medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the crash. Brian’s vehicle had no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene due to disabling damage. Kenneth’s vehicle had front airbag deployment and was also towed from the scene due to disabling damage. Kenneth was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way from a Stop Sign and was released with a future court date.
On Jan. 5:
● At 6:06 p.m., Deputies responded to the N2000 block of Clarno Road, in the Town of Clarno, for a vehicle versus power pole. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Teylon J. Hampton, 16 of Monroe, was traveling southbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions. The vehicle then entered the west ditch and collided with a power pole. Hampton sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Hampton reported wearing his seatbelt and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
On Jan. 6:
● At approximately 2:43 p.m., Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash in the W2600 block of State Highway 11, Town of Jefferson. The investigation revealed that Sheena M. Baugh, age 39 of Chicago, was entering the highway from a parking lot when her vehicle was stuck by an eastbound vehicle operated by Donald E. Robieson, age 80 of Monroe. Donald, Sheena, and Sheena’s passenger reported wearing their seatbelts and were not injured in the collision. Donald’s black 2019 Honda Ridgeline sustained disabling damage to the front with airbag deployment and was towed from the scene. Sheena’s black 2015 Acura MDX sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment and was also towed from the scene. Sheena was cited for failure to yield the right of way and issued a written warning for operating after suspension.
● At approximately 6:00 p.m., Deputies responded to the W2300 blk of CTH EE, Town of Albany, for a report of a single vehicle crash with no injury. Investigation determined the operator and sole occupant, McKenna A. Folkers, 19 of Belleville, was traveling east on CTH EE when she failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. McKenna’s vehicle lost traction, slid across the roadway and entered an embankment. The vehicle continued to travel until it came to a rest in a field. McKenna reported wearing her seatbelt and not being injured. There was no airbag deployment, the vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene after being removed from the field by a tow.

On Dec. 10:
● 5 citations were issued for Winter Parking in the downtown area.
● 9:58 a.m., Police responded to the 1300 block of W 4th Ave. for the report of Disorder-ly Conduct; subject involved in a verbal altercation. Contact was made and the matter was resolved.
● 1:32 p.m., a 30 year old Juda man was arrested in the 800 block of 12th St. for Operating While Intoxicated Causing Injury, Possession of Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle and Reckless Driving following a Traffic Crash. He was also cited for Vehicle Operator Fail to Wear Seatbelt and Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance Required.
● 6:18 p.m., Police responded to the 700 block of Green St. for the report of Disorderly Conduct; a subject causing a disturbance. Contact was made and the matter was resolved.
On Dec. 14:
● 9:50 a.m., Police responded to the 100 block of 8th St for the report of Vandalism; subject damaging yard. This matter remains under investigation.
● 3:31 p.m., Police responded to the 1000 block of 8th St for the report of Suspicious Activity; fire alarm going off.Officers were able to turn off fire alarm for caller, no additional Suspicious Activity was found.
● 4:17 p.m., Police responded to the 1000 block of 21st St for the report of Disorderly Conduct; subject not leaving.Prior to Officer arrival, the subject left. Contact with the subject was made and a verbal warning for Disorderly Con-duct was made.
On Dec. 15:
● 7:50 a.m., Police were made aware of an Animal Complaint in the 2500 block of W 5th Ave. Contact with owner was made and the dog was returned.
● 4:43 p.m., Police were made aware of an Animal Complaint in the 1300 block of 13th St; dog at large. The dog returned home and a verbal warning was issued to the owner.
On Dec. 16:
● 9:47 a.m., Police responded to the 1200 block of 17th St for the report of Suspicious Activity; suspicious vehicle in area. Officers made contact with occupant of vehicle and it was found to be someone making a phone call.
