On June 29:
● 9:59 a.m. A deputy responded to Lake Rd, Blanchard Township to assist with a vehicle unlock.
● 1:13 p.m. Christopher W Denning, 32, Benton was arrested for a probation and parole violation at CTH K, Darlington Township.
● 2:41 p.m.Nick A Weber, 61, Benton was arrested for a probation and parole violation at CTH K, Darlington Township.
● 2:51 p.m.Tera G Redfearn, 34, Platteville was transported from the Dubuque County Jail to the Lafayette County Jail on a valid Lafayette County warrant. Redfearn remains in custody.
● 6:08 p.m. Benton First Response and Hazel Green EMS responded to Whaley Rd, Benton Township for a medical emergency.
● 6:47 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Seymour Township for a traffic complaint of an erratic driver. Darlington Police Department assisted on scene.
● 8:37 p.m. A deputy responded to S Park St, Village of Belmont to assist with a vehicle unlock.
● 10:29 p.m. Kodye R Dock, 34, Belmont was cited for Operating while Suspended and No Insurance, on N Mound Av, Village of Belmont.
On June 30:
● 2:49 AM Diana Roman-Lugarda, 17, Darlington was cited for a Graduated Driver’s License Violation on STH 11, New Diggings Township.
● 6:05 a.m. Belmont EMS responded to Wood St, Village of Belmont for a medical emergency.
● 6:33 a.m A deputy responded to Field Drive Rd, Belmont Township for a complaint of harassment.
● 10:45 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH P, Shullsburg Township for a check welfare.
● 5:42 p.m. A deputy responded to E High St, Village of South Wayne for a juvenile problem.
● 5:48 PM Belmont EMS responded to Sunrise Ct, Village of Belmont for a medical emergency.
● 6:19 p.m. A deputy responded to S Galena St, Village of South Wayne for a civil dispute.
● 8:07 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 11, Shullsburg Township for livestock on the roadway.
● 8:18 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH J, Village of Benton for a 911 misdial.
● 11:32 p.m. Mark T Jenson, 60, Darlington reported striking a deer on County Shop Rd, Darlington Township. Jenson’s 2008 Mercury received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
On July 2:
● 12:23 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 11, Gratiot Township for a disabled vehicle.
● 12:27 a.m. Deputies responded to STH 23 in the City of Darlington to assist Darlington Police with a traffic stop.
● 2:29 a.m. Lafayette County EMS responded to E Catherine ST in the City for a medical emergency. Darlington Police and a deputy assisted on scene.
Monticello Police
On July 22:
● At approximately 12:09 a.m., Officers conducted traffic control on W. Coates Avenue at State Hwy 69 for Monticello Fire First Response who were responding to a medical emergency outside of the village.
● At approximately 12:21 a.m., Officers responded to the area of State Hwy 69 and E. Lake Avenue. It was found that a vehicle had struck a goose. The goose was removed from the roadway and properly disposed of.
● At approximately 6:16 p.m., Officers received a report of a couple of dogs left in vehicle that was parked in the 200 block of N. Main Street. Officers checked on the dogs and found that they were okay. A very short time later the owner returned to the vehicle.
● At approximately 6:54 p.m., Officers conducted traffic control at the intersection of N. Main Street and E. Coates Avenue for Monticello Fire First Response who were responding to a medical emergency outside of the village.
