BRODHEAD — The Brodhead Police Department has announced a person of interest for a theft by fraud case, Nov. 20. The individual entered a business on the 2000 block of 1st Center Ave under the false pretense of a figure familiar with the store manager with permission to receive money from the store.

The Brodhead Police warn of high likelihood of similar crimes that may occur in the area. The suspect is highly skilled in manipulating the business employees, but there have been no acts of or threats of violence, according to a press release posted on the Brodhead Police Department’s Facebook.
