Lawrence E. "Larry" Keough, 72, of Beloit died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Beloit Memorial Hospital in Beloit, WI. He was born on March 29, 1942 in Darlington, WI, the son of Edmund F. and Ethel Coulthard Keough.

He was a 1960 graduate of Darlington High School and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army enlisting on February 18, 1964 and honorably discharged on February 9, 1966. Larry married Ruth L. Lyne on June 1, 1968 in Shullsburg, WI. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in many capacities retiring in 1997. Larry was on the Orfordville Village Board for several years and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, taxidermy, coin collecting, stamp collecting and woodworking.

Larry is survived by his wife, Ruth; four children, Amy (Joe Juric) Raiche and Teresa (Wanden) Zittlow both of Janesville, WI, David (Sue) Keough of Beloit, WI and Jackie Keough of Janesville, WI; four grandchildren, Duane Raiche, Brandon Reed, Dustin Zittlow and Keagan Zittlow; six brothers and sisters, Mary Ellen (Gene) Tollakson of South Wayne, WI, Joann (Werner) Gerber of Browntown, WI, Kathleen (Ernie) Buss of Dodgeville, WI, Jim (Janice) Keough of Myrtle Beach, SC, Donna (Alan) Loeffelholz of Wild Rose, WI and Paul (Kathy) Keough of Hot Springs, AR; many nieces and nephews and friends.

With Larry's love for his family, he donated his kidney to his daughter, Jackie.

He was predeceased by his parents and two nephews, Brad Tollakson and Darrell Tollakson.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 2222 Shopiere Road, Beloit, with the Very Reverend Paul Ugo Arinze, V.F. celebrating the Mass. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow in Mt. Thabor Cemetery, Beloit. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014, in the BRIAN G. MARK Funeral Home, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the Church. Please share a memory or a condolence with the Keough family on our website.
