SUN PRAIRIE - Kevin Eugene Lueck, age 55, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2010 surrounded by love. He was born on August 12, 1954 in Monroe, WI. He graduated in 1972 from Orangeville High School, Orangeville, IL, where he was an All-Conference basketball player and excelled in other sports. Kevin led a happy and fulfilled life. Kevin's famous smile was always beaming - whether playing basketball, fast pitch softball, golf or cards and enjoying his beloved family and friends, a good lobster tail, or a day in the sun. He loved his work at Beloit Corporation and Paperchine and through this; he was able to travel the world. He touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend, Beatriz Bonet-Lueck of Sun Prairie; loving daughter: Jessica Holmes of Chicago, IL; son: Michael Lueck, of Beloit, WI; parents: Keith and Louise Christensen of Monroe, WI; brothers: Kurt (Donna) Lueck of Miami, FL, Kip Christensen of Merrillville, IN; sisters: Kathy (Daryl) Schindler of Baraboo, WI, Kristy (Rich) DeNisi of Flower Mound, TX, Kara Christensen of Orangeville, IL, Kelli (David) Balsman of Belvidere, IL; mother and father-in-law: Ely and Lourdes Bonet of Las Cruces, NM; many nieces, nephews and his extended family. He is further survived by many wonderful friends, co-workers and his much loved cat, Gordo.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at ST. ALBERT THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2420 Saint Albert Drive, Sun Prairie, with Msgr. Terrence Connors officiating. Visitation begins at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to U.W. Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center, Dr. Liu and all of the wonderful staff. Deepest thanks to the incredible angels at HospiceCare, Inc., especially Kelsey and Kim for their excellent care of Kevin and all the family during his time at home.
