Joyce E. Schiller, age 86 of Monroe, died Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. Joyce was born August 8, 1929 in Blue River, WI, the daughter of Fay and Nona (Gibbs) Foster. She graduated from Monroe High School and married Howard Schiller on September 3, 1950 at the E.U.B. Church in Monroe. Joyce worked as a supervisor for the United Telephone Company in Monroe for 40 years until retiring. She was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church and enjoyed family vacations to Northern Wisconsin, listening to music, and taking care of her dogs.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Howard Schiller of Monroe; a son, Stephen F. (Sue) Schiller of Harvard, IL; a daughter, Marsha (Mark) Lindsay of Monroe; three grandchildren, Brian (Aindrea) Lindsay of La Crosse, Nicole Turner of North Charleston, S.C., Bruce Lindsay of Appleton; 8 great-grandchildren; and one great great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at the Monroe United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Booth officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials are suggested in Joyce's name to the Michael J.
