Jerrold G. Vogel, age 69 of South Wayne, Wisconsin, died Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Dakota, Illinois. He was born August 13, 1940 in Monroe, WI, the son of George and Olga (Christen) Vogel and graduated from South Wayne High School in 1958. Jerrold farmed in the South Wayne area all his life.
Surviving are his siblings, Joanne (Thomas) Ten Eyck of Brodhead, WI, Jerome (Rachel) Vogel of Monroe, WI, and Jason (Elaine) Vogel of Mineral Point, WI; and brother-in-law, Arvid Gilmore of Underwood, IA. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Judith Gilmore; and niece, Laurie Gilmore.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Hanson Funeral Home in South Wayne, WI with Rev. David Busker officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in South Wayne.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to time of service at noon on Thursday at the funeral home.
A memorial fund to St. Jude's Children Hospital is being established.
