Jeffrey R. Sullivan, age 37, of Monroe, died March 23, 2008 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital due to fire-related injuries. He was born June 6, 1970 in Monroe, Wisconsin. Jeff, son of Arthur L. and Linda L. Sullivan, graduated from Monroe High School in 1988. After graduation, he spent five years in the full-time ministry as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in Monroe, while working part-time for his father at Monroe Office Supply Inc. In 1989, he began working at Pizza Hut of Monroe first in delivery, then as a waiter, went into management training, and eventually became the general manager. Through his business education and expertise, Jeff was able to bring Monroe Pizza Hut to the number four store in sales in the country. Linda Burkhalter, who worked with Jeff for 16 of the 19 years at Pizza Hut, said, "Jeff made Pizza Hut a family. He was more than a boss and a co-worker; he was a true friend to each and every employee."
Jeff married Ruth R. Hensler on March 13, 1999 in Monroe and soon after he adopted her three children. Jeff loved his wife dearly and raised her children as his own.
Starting in June of 2007, Jeff was recruited to be the area supervisor for McDonalds of Monroe. In the short time he worked in this position he was greatly appreciated for his kind manner in dealing with all the employees and will be greatly missed by everyone he worked with.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Ruth R. Sullivan, their three children, Julia B., David A., Levi D. Sullivan; his grandmother, Lorna R. Sullivan; his parents, Arthur L. and Linda L. Sullivan; two brothers, Art L. (Carolyn) and John A. (Krystal) Sullivan; his sister, Alaina (Chris) M. Coyle; his nieces, Tyiesha Sydnor, Mercedes and Alexa Mancillas, and Aislin Coyle, all of Monroe and the surrounding area.

To know Jeff was to love Jeff. Everyone that ever came in contact with him, whether at work or in the community, were always impressed by his cheerful and generous spirit. Jeff's love and dedication to his wife, children and family were clearly evident to anybody that knew him. He and his family were dedicated in their worship to Jehovah God, and those who share his faith draw comfort from God's promise recorded in the Bible to welcome him back in a paradise earth with the rest of mankind through the resurrection made possible by God's son Jesus Christ.
