Jean Ann Phillips, age 70, of Monroe, died on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on April 16, 1943 the daughter of Ray and Pauline (Belknap) Phillips.

Jean was a loyal Swiss Colony employee for 40 years. She enjoyed embroidery, movies, word finds, and Elvis. She deeply loved her friends and family, especially her great nieces and nephew, the Green Bay Packers and the Red Apple. Probably nothing made her happier than a chance to laugh and kid with you over a cup of coffee.

Jean is survived by her sister, Dorothy (Pat) Wuetrich, Janesville, a nephew, Al Wuetrich, Hutchinson, MN, a niece Tricia (Bill) Clasen, Janesville, three great nieces and a nephew: Lexi, Grace, Faith, Ryan and a dear friend, Joel Wahl, Monroe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Lee Roger (Butch) Phillips.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Hackman officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Family would like to thank her many caregivers, Home Care Givers, Monroe Clinic Hospital, Pleasant View Nursing Home, Monroe Clinic Hospice and especially Joe Wahl.

A memorial fund is being established in Jean's memory.
