MONROE/NEW GLARUS - Janice Marie (Hustad) Disch, age 64, of Monroe passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the New Glarus Home. She was born on October 18, 1948 in Monroe to her parents Donald and Dorothy (Hamilton) Hustad. Janice graduated from New Glarus High School. Following high school Janice attended the Madison Beauty School and worked as a Beautician for many years. Janice loved bowling and being part of the home makers. She treasured her family and grandchildren and was known for making the best homemade soups.

Janice is survived by her mother Dorothy, special friend and soul mate Steve Crary, children Sherri (Marty) Dahlk, Lisa Kraft, Nathan Crary, Shawne Crary, grandchildren Kellie and Alexander Dahlk, Margo (Jeremy) Herfel, Cheyenne Kraft, and Jasmine, Cali, and Elizabeth Crary. She is further survived by her siblings Carol (Gary) Elmer, Lorna (Rick) Righter, and Duane (Lynne) Hustad, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Donald.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 506 12th Ave., New Glarus, WI with the Rev. Gene Talley officiating.

Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
