Irvin K. Fernstaedt, age 93 of Monroe, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his home. Irvin was born February 19, 1919 in Stephenson County, IL, the son of Herman and Emilie (Krupke) Fernstaedt. He graduated from South Wayne High School and married June Jordan on January 29, 1944 at the Peace United Church of Christ Parsonage in Browntown.
