BRODHEAD - Harlan J. Mahlkuch, age 64, of Brodhead, passed away unexpectedly at Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit, WI, on Monday, January 20, 2014. He was born on August 17, 1949 in Monroe, WI, the son of John and Laura (Wyss) Mahlkuch. He married Sandra K. Boeck on June 7, 1969 in South Wayne, WI.
Harlan graduated from Juda High School in 1967. He had farmed in Jefferson Township and was currently working for Kuhn - North America, Brodhead. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, golf, and was an avid Packer fan. His favorite times were spent with family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; children, Becky (Kevin) Nelson, Lisa Mahlkuch, both of Monroe, Steve (Penny) Mahlkuch, Juda, Harlan R. (Anna) Mahlkuch, Ansbach, Germany; a brother, John (Rosemary) Mahlkuch, Eustis, FL; a sister-in-law, Glenda Mahlkuch, Swansquarters, NC; a brother-in-law, Don Ingwell, Cary, IL; eight grandchildren, Dan, Jacob, John, David, Harlan Michael, Sophia Mahlkuch, Bobbie (Adam), Wurster, and Zander Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Duane, and a sister, Sue Ingwell.
