Those who knew George will remember his great love of family, telling stories, and baseball. He enjoyed taking drives in the surrounding counties and taking car trips to see the country. His favorite hobbies included woodworking, puttering in his workshop, reading and working on puzzles. Many of his local neighbors will remember George for his helpfulness to them in home repairs and outdoor chores. Above all, we will remember his incredibly strong and independent spirit.
