Gary L. Corbin, age 73 of Monroe, died Friday, November 20, 2015 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, after battling Acute Leukemia for 5 months. He was born on March 16, 1942, in Ridgeway, WI, the son of Phillip and Emma (Arntsen) Corbin. He was a graduate of Argyle High School. He entered the U.S. Army in 1964 and was honorably discharged in 1966, serving in the Army Infantry, 2nd Armored Division, and then eight years as a weekend warrior. Gary married JoAnn Ommodt Robertson on July 3, 1976.

He worked as plant manager for Oaktron Industries and for MTX for forty four years and currently worked in quality control at Colony Brands until becoming ill. Gary loved to hunt, fish and go out dancing; but most of all Gary enjoyed being with family, enjoying life to the fullest. He was an avid Badger and Packer fan, but most of all he was a landscape artist, designing his flower beds and his Koi pond.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Corbin; sons, Jason (Mandy Pella) Corbin, Michael (Peggy) Corbin, David Robertson; daughters, Michelle (Robert Foster) Corbin, Sheri (Russ) Werren, Debra Hauser; 6 grandchildren, 2 special granddaughters, Heather Priebe and Caitlyn Foster; brothers, John (Kay) Corbin, Dean Corbin, Steve (Evie) Corbin, Harold (Barbara) Corbin and a sister, Patricia Danielson. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Corbin, Phillip Corbin; sister, Marian Sniff and a brother-in-law, Gene Sniff.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in South Wayne with Pastor Dennis Perger officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home In Monroe.
