MONROE — The Green County District Attorney Craig Nolen’s office recently released information on four notable closed cases in the county in November.
● Troy Lee Thomm was convicted of five counts of Possess/Distribute/Exhibit an Intimate Representation (Victim < 18 years old). He was sentenced to two years of initial confinement, followed by two years of extended supervision, to be followed by three years of probation. Thomm will be required to register as a sex offender. The investigation was led by Lt. John Schuetz of the Green County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce.
● On November 17, 2021, following his conviction at jury trial, Skylar Martin was sentenced for Child Abuse-Recklessly Cause Great Harm, as a repeater, to a term of three years initial confinement and three years of extended supervision. Assistant DA Laura Kohl recommended a term of five years initial confinement and five years of extended supervision. Martin faced 17 years in the Wisconsin Prison as a result of such conviction.
●William Lee Kuntz, age 19 at time of sentencing and 18 at time of incident, was convicted of Second Degree Sexual Assault of Child, relating to the sexual assault of a teenage female. Kuntz was sentenced to one year in the Green County Jail, as a condition of 5 years probation. Kuntz will be required to register as a sex offender as a result of such conviction.
● Nicholas Jason Roth was convicted of Possession with Intent to Deliver more than 3 grams of methamphetamine and multiple counts of felony bail jumping. Roth was sentenced to a term of four years of initial confinement followed by five years of extended supervision, to be followed by an additional period of three years of probation on 8 felony bail jumping counts and three misdemeanor bail jumping counts.
