DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:
A deputy and the Darlington Fire Department responded at 10:52 a.m. to Ames Road in Darlington Township for a downed power line on trees, causing the trees to smolder.
The Shullsburg, Darlington, Benton and Belmont fire departments were paged at 4:50 p.m. to respond to Platteville to assist with traffic control due to the storm that occurred the previous night.
Shullsburg Ambulance responded at 7:06 p.m. to East Water Street, Shullsburg.
Blanchardville Ambulance responded at 9:29 p.m. to West Olson Lane, Blanchard Township.
On Monday:
South Wayne Fire Department was alerted to the Black Hawk Schools at 2:19 p.m. for a report of smoke in the office area. Deputies responded to assist.
Belmont EMS was alerted to a call at a residence on Highland Street in Belmont at 5:28 p.m.
Rural Medical Ambulance was alerted to a call at a residence on Division Street in Darlington at 9:19 p.m. A deputy assisted at the scene.
Woodford and Argyle fire departments were alerted to a residential fire on County M in Wiota Township at 10:53 p.m. Argyle Police Department assisted at the scene.
