BROOKLYN - A 27-year-old man died Tuesday morning, Dec. 3 after the conversion van he was driving crossed the center line of a two-lane highway near Brooklyn and hit a semi-truck head on, according to a news report from Madison.com.
The driver of the van was prounounced dead at the scene by the Dane County medical examiner.
The crash occurred on Wis. 14 just north of Wis. 92 in the town of Rutland.
Wis. 14 was shut down for several hours as a result of the crash.
The truck driver, Phillip Parker, 33, Baraboo, sustained minor injuries and was taken to UW Hospital.
