JUDA - Eugene G. Boyce, age 80, of rural Juda, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at his home. He was born on February 1, 1934 in Woodstock, IL, the son of Glenn and Clara (Grunau) Boyce. He married Patricia Hawkinsen on February 25, 1956 in Woodstock, IL.
Eugene was a process engineer for Chrysler Corp. He had served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958. He was a hobby farmer, enjoyed nature, being outdoors and especially fond of elephants and lions.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Cindy (Mark) Chesna, Williamson, GA, Pamela (David) Gillis, Rush Springs, OK, Gregory (Renee) Boyce, Madison, WI; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Hazel Roderick, and a brother, John Boyce.
A Memorial Service will be held at noon on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at the D.L. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, BRODHEAD, WI, with Pastor Krystal Goodger officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services. Online condolences may be made at www.dlnewcomerfuneralhome.com.
