Emogene Kay Robieson, 77, of Monroe passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on November 22, 1940, the daughter of Donald and Lucille (Marty) Marti. Emogene was a graduate of South Wayne High School. She was married to John Pluss on October 25, 1957 in Monticello; he preceded her in death in 1974. On November 2, 1979 she was united in marriage to Donald E. Robieson in Monroe.
Emogene farmed alongside her husband for many years, as well as working at Swiss Colony, D.P. Concrete, and Rosenstiel Real Estate. She enjoyed traveling, family gatherings and especially spending time with her family and extended family.
Emogene is survived by her husband, Donald; children, David (Pat) Pluss of Albany and Randy (Kim) Pluss of Monroe; three grandchildren, Ashley (Bill) Frick, John (Nicolette) Pluss and Justin Dunwiddie; great-grandson, Dax Pluss; sisters, Diane (Wayne) Rosenstiel of Browntown, Renne (Richard) Meier, and Karen (Delbert) Potter, both of Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, John; sons, Allen and Roger Pluss; and brother, Larry Marti.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with David and Pat Pluss officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Highland Cemetery in Monticello at a later date.
