Vernon LeRoy Simplot, 73, Beloit, died Monday, April 16, 2012. In accordance with his wishes, no funeral services will be held. Family and friends are invited to gather at Newark School, 11247 S. Merlet Road, Beloit, from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 29. The D.L. Newcomer Funeral Home, Brodhead, is assisting the family.
