LaVerne E. Springer, 96, Monroe, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 at St. John's United Church of Christ. There will be no visitation. The Newcomer Funeral Home in Monroe is in charge of arrangements.
