Wayne F. Larson, 74, Rockford, Illinois, formerly Darlington, died Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Sycamore, Illinois. A funeral service will be held at noon Monday, March 20 at Darlington United Methodist Church, 546 Park Place, Darlington, with Rev. Angela Steinhauer officiating. Burial will be in Gratiot Methodist Evangelical Cemetery in Gratiot, where military graveside rites will be accorded by Bates-O'Brien-Howe-Wiegel-Roelli Darlington American Legion Post 214. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Monday, March 20 at Darlington United Methodist Church. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is in charge of arrangements.
