Dawn E. Weckerly, age 52, of Monroe, died on Monday, August 11, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison. She was born on August 4, 1962 in Monroe, the daughter of Alan and Diana (Weeks) Weckerly. Dawn was a 1983 graduate of Monroe High School and was employed with Greenco Industries for 26 years.

Dawn was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. She was an active participant with Catholic Charities events. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends especially dining out.

She is survived by her parents, Alan and Diana Weckerly of Monroe, brothers, Alan (Patricia) Weckerly Jr. of Cleveland, OH; Scott (Judy) Weckerly of Nashville, TN; sisters, Brenda Weckerly (Matthew Becker) of Hatfield, PA; Cindy (Matthew) Wilcox of Monroe; grandmother, Ruth Zumbach of Monroe; and also several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Guy and Ferne Weckerly, maternal grandfathers, Orlin Weeks and Ernest Zumbach.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ with Rev. Todd Hackman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Dr., and 18th Ave.

A memorial fund is being established to Greenco Industries in Dawn's memory.
