Dawn Ann Lengel, 49, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and boys on Saturday, 9/12/15, at home in Juda, Wisconsin.

Dawn fought hard not to let breast cancer define her, or take control of her life. She was a warrior to the end, regardless of how she felt, she was determined to be there for her family.

Dawn was born on February 22, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois. Dawn graduated from St. Edwards High School in 1984. Following her graduation she worked as a graphic artist.

Dawn was a loving wife to Todd, whom she married in 1994 in St. Charles, Illinois. Dawn and Todd have two wonderful boys, Brandon and Jacob.

Dawn's family meant the world to her, her biggest passion was her family. She loved cooking, making costumes for her boys, family BBQs, watching her boys participate in school functions, and helping her husband on the farm.

She was warm and giving, not only to her family, but also to so many friends. She was deeply loved, her spirit and smile will always be remembered.

Dawn is survived by her Mother, Delores Snelson, and her Father, Dave Snelson of Elgin, Illinois. She is also survived by her sisters Kathy, Nicole and Dedrie, and brother, Jason. She is survived by her Mother-In-law, Maud Lengel and by brother-in-law, Tim, and sister-in-law Cindy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Father-in-law, Will Lengel.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm. on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Zion United Methodist Church, Juda WI.

A Memorial fund in her name is being established at the Woodford State Bank in Monroe.
