Daniel B. Marchant, age 31 of Monroe, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 10, 2010 at his home. Dan was born October 2, 1978 in Monroe, the son of Dexter J. and Kathy (Dearth) Marchant. He was a 1997 graduate of Monroe High School where he was active in the school musicals, chorus, elected class president(3 years), and prom king (junior and senior years). Dan worked as a manager at Subway in Stoughton for 5 years and later was employed as assistant manager at the White Horse Inn of Madison before moving back to Monroe in 2004. He worked at Pizza Hut in Monroe for one year.
Dan married Natalie Kupersmith on June 18, 1997 in Juda. Dan had a love of the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping.
He is survived by his wife, Natalie Marchant of Juda; his mother, Kathy (Raymond) Neuenschwander of Browntown; a sister, Mary Johnson and her children, Jason and Tyler Johnson, all of Monroe; many aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father and best friend, Dexter Marchant; maternal and paternal grandparents; an uncle, Kevin Marchant; and a cousin, Matthew Marchant.
A celebration of Dan's life will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Juda Community Center.
