Dale R. "Trapper D" Jelinek

Dale R. "Trapper D" Jelinek, age 57, of Argyle, WI, entered into eternal peace on Monday, July 30, 2012. He was born March 4, 1955 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Clyde and Marlys (Karlik) Jelinek. Dale graduated from Juneau High School in 1973. He lived most of his life in the Milwaukee area, where he worked at Allis Chalmers, Seven-Up Bottling Company and ARA Mark Magazine Company. In 1996, he moved to Argyle to be with the woman who captured his heart. Dale and Laurel Bruehlman were united in marriage on January 4, 1998 at Cloud 9 Wedding Chapel in South Lake Tahoe, NV.

Dale is survived by his parents: Clyde and Marlys Jelinek of Milwaukee; his mother and father-in-law: John and JoAnne Bruehlman; one daughter: Gabrielle "Bre" (David) Clevenger of Pendleton, IN; two grandchildren: Oakly and Carsten Clevenger; two brothers: Jay (Jill) Jelinek of Milwaukee, and Daniel (Sherri) Jelinek of Wauwatosa, WI; two sisters: Laura (Joe) Buncich of Fort Wayne, IN, and Karen (Dave) Garrison of New Berlin, WI; three brothers-in-law: Loren (Kristi) Bruehlman, Jim Bruehlman, and Gerald (Michele) Bruehlman all of Argyle; and one sister-in-law: Christine (David) Goff of Fairbanks, AK. He was preceded in death by his wife: Laurel Bruehlman on March 2, 2010; and one sister-in-law: Marjean Bruehlman.

Dale truly loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was an adventurer living life to its fullest, which included backpacking and hitchhiking all the way to Alaska. Dale continued his love for traveling, but his greatest love was for his family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Lutheran Church, 1540 Old Highway 81 in rural Argyle with Rev. Ron Brubakken officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in rural Argyle. A visitation will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
