Dale A. Barth, age 84, of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Azura Memory Care in Monroe. He was born on June 20, 1931 in Monroe, the son of Alfred and Susanna (Blum) Barth Jr. and graduated from Monroe High School in 1949.
Dale farmed in the Monroe area; he enjoyed reading, music, dancing and was always there to lend a hand where ever needed.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley of Monroe, daughters, Connie Barth of Monroe, Angela (Chad) Moore of Monroe; grandchildren, Dana and Dillion Moore; sister, Margaret Miller of Grand Rapids, MI; his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and his treasured companion, his cat, Bear.
He is predeceased by his Parents, brother, Rolland Barth and sister, Arlene in infancy.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ with Rev. Todd Hackman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, November 13th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home in Monroe. A memorial fund will be established.
