In a story about the Black Hawk school district's 2014-15 budget on Page A1 of the Thursday, Oct. 30 edition of The Monroe Times, some of the information about revenues and expenses was incorrect. The district's recurring referendum on the Nov. 4 ballot asking for $250,000 will not affect expenses in the budget. Revenues would increase as a direct result of the passage or non-passage of the referendum by $250,000 and only affects local taxes.

The Times regrets the errors.
